Sangha, Songs, & Stillness" w/ Katy, 9-10am Sun. 4/19
This “sangha” (community) gathering weaves together singing/chanting, moments of silence and contemplative practice, and gentle dharma reflection. No prior chanting or meditation experience is needed, and singing isn’t required either--listening is just fine! The intention of this sangha is to create a supportive, intentional space to slow down, open the heart, regulate the nervous system, and remember our shared humanity.
Self Care Day for Artists (of all types!)
This will be a great day to talk mental health, as artists (comedians, writers, painters, dancers, singers, instrumentalists, etc). We will have mental health facilitator therapist Carrie Evans on hand to answer questions and guide our discussion. This is a free event, but you must RSVP to attend. Open Sanctuary Hours
Think of this as “office hours” at The Be Sanctuary, but in the most fun way! Collaborators will be facilitating activities centered around the themes of body wellbeing, social justice, and creativity, and you can tour the space and “feel the vibe” of our amazing community!
